Tim Alexander has recorded and performed with the group Into the Presence. He has also written and directed a movie called the Jam Band Spoof, and he is an author with his book the How to be a Rockstar in High School.

Les Claypool’s bass guitar is the focal point of Primus music. They combine elements of funk, alternative rock and progressive rock. They also use a wide variety of instruments including drums, keyboards, saxophone, trumpet, and trombone. The band has performed at many different venues and festivals.
